CJC-1295
Tells your body to make more of its own GH.
CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It comes in two forms: with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) for a long half-life of roughly a week, and without DAC for a shorter, more controllable pulse. Rather than injecting growth hormone directly, CJC-1295 upregulates the body's own GH production — the effects show up everywhere growth hormone works: sleep, body composition, recovery, skin.
Binds to GHRH receptors on the anterior pituitary, stimulating pulsatile release of endogenous growth hormone. The DAC version covalently binds serum albumin, extending its half-life dramatically. Downstream, elevated GH drives IGF-1 production in the liver.
- E.01Peer-reviewed Phase 1 studies show sustained elevation of GH and IGF-1 in healthy adults for up to 6 days after a single dose of CJC-1295 with DAC.
- E.02Documented benefits for slow-wave sleep and body composition in adult GH deficiency models.
- E.03Best-characterized when paired with a GHRP (like Ipamorelin) — the two work synergistically.
Common side effects: injection-site reactions, transient flushing, occasional water retention. Long-term elevated GH/IGF-1 may affect insulin sensitivity — monitor fasting glucose. Contraindicated for active cancer.
Canonical stack: CJC-1295 (no DAC) + Ipamorelin, dosed together to produce clean GH pulses without cortisol elevation.
